The Australian Phenomics Facility (APF) recognises that the standard of our services impacts significantly on research project outcomes, timeframes to completion and the overall cost of undertaking the research.
We are committed to providing the highest quality services and as a result have recently attained NATA accreditation in the research and development (R&D) program. The APF is currently the only facility in the ACT with R&D accreditation and one of only ten Australia wide. The APF Australian Phenome Bank is also the first R&D NATA accredited bio-bank in Australia.
The facility is equipped with up to date technology to deliver the highest quality research data and we monitor and improve our quality through a continuous improvement programme. All services are compliant with relevant legislation including those governed by the Office of the Gene Technology Registrar (OGTR), ANU Animal Experimentation Ethics Committee (AEEC), Department of Agriculture, Forestry’s and Fisheries (DAFF) and other relevant legislative authorities.

The APF is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) in the program of Research and Development (biological and medical testing).The APF operates in compliance with the international standards ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 15189 (interpreted for research using CITAC Guide CG2 “Quality Assurance for Research and Non Routine Analysis” (1998).
